How to tell when they are done?

Here are some easy ways to tell when they are done.

Butter Cake

The cake is done when you touch them lightly with your finger and no imprint remains or when a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Egg Cake and Chiffon Cake

The cake is done when you touch them lightly with your finger and no imprint remains. Moreover, it if it feels firm and spongy and presses back and after removing from the oven. Wait for it to cool before removal.

Cookies

The color of the cookies indicates its readiness. Cookies are done when they are firmly set or browned. When you touch them lightly with your finger, almost no imprint will remain.

Bread

It is easy to test the bread. If the color is golden brown, the bread is ready. As for the bread baked in a pan, the dough will pull away from the sides of the pan. The bread is ready to be served.

Pie Crusts

If the bottom crust turned golden brown, this indicates that your crust is ready, immediately take it out of the oven. 

 Layered Pie

After the crust puff and changed its color. Continue to bake a bit more with lower temperature. When you touch them lightly with your finger on the sides, if the crust has turned crispy, it is ready to be removed from the oven.
